the three branches of government are the Judicial, executive, and legislative branch
Executive Branch
The Executive Brach part of the 2nd article. This branch includes the President, Vice President, and all cabinet members. To become the president you need to be Born in the US, stayed in the US for 14 years, 35 years old, and elected by the people of the United States. The President is elected every four years and can severe two terms. The jobs of the Executive branch is to propose laws, and pass laws.
Judicial Branch
The judicial Branch is made up of the federal courts and all 94 courts that are in every state. The duties of the Judicial Branch is to propose laws and review lower court decisions. If you are a judge or anything besides a senator you have a life time appointment. The three types of courts are Supreme, Courts of Appeal, and District courts.
Legislature
The legislative branch has two houses the senate and house of representatives. The Senate is made up f the Vice President and President. You need to be 30 years old and in the US for 9 years. It passes laws and discuss bills. You serve a six year term, but you can serve an unlimited amount of times. The house of representatives is made up of representatives from every state. The representatives are based on state population. It has no more than 435 members. You have to be 25 years old and 7 years in the US. They can impeach the president which is charging a serious crime against the President. You serve two years.
